We are delighted to be hosting a series of talks and screenings in London this autumn and into the new year to celebrate the publication of our expanded reissue of Derek Jarman’s Kicking the Pricks: The Last of England.

We’ll be launching the book at the LRB Bookshop, with Neil Bartlett and Richard Scott, followed by an evening at Burley Fisher Books, with Richard Scott and Declan Wiffen. In addition to these talks, we have programmed two special screenings of Jarman’s seminal film The Last of England, which was released alongside the original edition of the book. The first is at The Castle Cinema in Hackney, and there will be another chance to see it at The Garden Cinema in January.
